Overview
A very nice place to shop if you have mobility issues. Everything clearly displayed and goods included toys, clothes, food, home, furniture, bedding, accessories, anything one could want. It was so nice to do a little early Christmas shopping without struggling through hazards in a city. Everything under one roof, and all quality goods. Brightly lit, clean, fresh; it made the shopping experience delightful. Good cafe with a varied selection. Customers are given a handset that vibrates when their table is ready. I like this feature because there was no need for queueing. We could carry on browsing until we were called, which was about 6 minutes. All table service and all the tables were accessible. Some outdoor seating for summer. Really nice views too.
Transport & Parking
Went by car. Disabled spaces near front but hard to get at the weekend. Car park mostly level near entrance.
Access
Step free entrance. Paths through the shop all very smooth. Gentle ramp with handrail down to lower part of the shop, and a lift to the furniture upstairs. Importantly ALL aisles were wide enough for a wheelchair or walker. Plenty of seats around but most fairly low benches without arms.
Toilets
Toilets right at the back of the store, so a long way to walk if you need to go after driving there. Easy to find near the cafe. Grab rails, plenty of space. Reasonably clean.
Staff
Very efficient staff. People I asked were helpful, but it was all a very slickly run shop, not really time for chat.
