A venue that gives disabled people a lovely viewing spot.

Overview

What I love about this place is they give wheelchair users a nice spot. While most concert venues put us at the back, out of site out of mind, The Usher Hall offers a great spot in the circle right next to the 'royal box'. There's also disabled spots in the stalls too but I've never tried them as the circle spots are just so good.

The venue has been properly modernized. No funny side doors for disabled people or anything like that. I was treated as with all the other punters as I should be.

There's an accessable loo near the accessable spots in the circle. It has its own door so no queing or trying to get passed other patrons. Perfect.

Very helpful people to offer directions to lifts etc.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

It's a venue I'm really delighted to see bands I like playing. I've been there twice ( John Carpenter and Public Service Broadcasting ) and am looking forward to QOTSA.
