Great accessible beach

Overview
Had a wonderful visit to Uig Beach. Access to the beach is great. The car park goes to within 2 metres of the sands with a solid vegetated dune path to get onto the beach. ( by comparison Luskentyre is a 200 metre long soft sandy path accessed by a smallish kissing gate.) There are disabled toilets with a large shower in the car park accessible with a Radar key.
Transport & Parking
Access is via a single track road as are most of the roads in the area.
Access
We use a rough terrain disability buggy and it was extremely easy to get around the car park and area. A manual wheelchair may need a wee push to get onto the sands but it is only 2 metres.
Toilets
Large disabled toilet with a huge shower suitable for a disabled person and carer.
