Overview
Lovely location by the river but not friendly for manual wheelchair users.
Transport & Parking
There is reserved parking for customers quite close but access to it is not obvious. A narrow entry almost opposite the Riverside pub/restaurant, with a 120 degree turn and concealed exit. There is free public parking in Wick Lane but you have to walk on the (sometimes busy) road and the two immediate paths down to the tea room are VERY steep - difficult holding a manual wheelchair going down and IMPOSSIBLE coming back up. So you have to walk back to the bridge and go down the hidden car access. Even then the path into the tea garden is crazy paving with many traps for the small front wheels of a manual wheelchair. There are 1/1b yellow bus stops nearby.
Access
Steep slopes and crazy paved paths.
Toilets
Not investigated.
