Overview
We're a party of 8, ages range from 5 to 40+ and yet we all had a really fab day! Lots for the younger members to do, and things for the young at heart to enjoy too. You should also try the 'Captain's Challenge' in the restaurant, so delicious!
Transport & Parking
There are dedicated spaces for disabled drivers and passengers, just be aware that the car park is gravel.
Access
The site's design means that you can only access the ground level, so any chance of seeing the aquarium area our the tarantula's is impossible if you're a wheelchair user. But don't let that put you off visiting, you can still hold a bearded dragon or a boa! Look out for Stan & Olly the parrots too ;) The outside play area's are also accessible to wheelchairs as are the outside animals.
Toilets
Nice big toilet, but it is a shared space which has baby changing. There are no ' Changing Spaces' however which is sad.
Staff
Very knowledgeable about the animals and also very pleasant!
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Highly recommended family day out, disabled adults and children have discounted entrance fees and a family ticket saves you money too!
