Overview
stuff everywhere - made it hard to get round some areas with a large wheelchair. Access to disabled loo partially blocked with furniture/boxes so mum had to leave the wheelchair and struggle down to the loo on sticks.
Transport & Parking
Not many disabled spaces. Car park quite bumpy to get over on wheelchair wheels.
Access
We've been here several times with varying levels of success. Sometimes we've managed to get about without too much trouble, other times we've given up. This was one of the "just get what we came for and give up" times as they were clearly re-arranging everything and stuff was everywhere making it quite hard to get round parts of the centre with a large wheelchair.
Toilets
can't get to it with a wheelchair due to all the junk in the corridor outside. Had to abandon chair and struggle down on sticks.
Staff
helpful man took fetched the heavy compost for us and loaded into car making sure we had enough room for the wheelchair as well.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
As I say, not our first visit and sometimes it's been really good but it is very hit and miss. Shame as it's nice to support independent garden centres but sometimes if you just want to browse it's easier to go to one of the big chains. Would be better if the redesigning of the store was done outside of opening hours!
