Overview
A new Mexican restaurant and tequileria on Lothian Road. Staff are great, and the atmosphere is fun! Overall, access appeared very good. Great new place in town.
Transport & Parking
Being on Lothian Road, this restaurant is great for buses. It's also very close to the taxi rank opposite Usher Hall.
Access
Wide double doors and step-free entrance into the restaurant. The doors aren't automatic, but the first set is propped open. Inside, there are lots of tables - many with removable chairs. It's quite dimly lit inside, but the street windows and bright colours help. The restaurant is level access, and there is a good amount of room to move between tables. There are also tables and chairs on the street, but it's a little bit tight for space.
Toilets
I didn't actually use the toilets on this visit, but I could see the accessible loo was large, bright and with (I believe) a sliding door. It's near the back of the restaurant.
Staff
Staff were very helpful and friendly. They explained the menu concept which was great - it's tapas style and your food comes as and when it's ready, so not all dishes will arrive at once.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Great restaurant to visit with friends before a night out! Look out for the traffic light in the restaurant which indicates how hot the chillies are that day.
