Not bad, not great

Overview
Nice meal and friendly servers, pretty much what you’d expect from Toby Carvery. Most of the restaurant is manual wheelchair accessible and there’s a small disabled toilet (unlocked with a radar key). You need someone able to carry things for you as food (and soft drinks) is self serve, as you’d expect from a carvery.
Transport & Parking
I got dropped off, but I noticed some limited disabled parking (see photo attached). I believe the nearest bus stops would be at the Orbital.
Access
There’s a dropped kerb and sloped access (not steep) to get in with double doors into a porch and a further set of double doors into the restaurant. Doors are not motorised. I was able to fit through with just the single door held open, my wheelchair width is 48cm/18.9” excluding the wheels. Inside the majority of the restaurant is flat, with carpet. We booked ahead to make sure we weren’t sat on the few tables up a couple steps. Some tight-ish squeezes past some of the tables (they have packed them in) but definitely all manageable in my manual wheelchair and I didn’t have to ask anyone to move. The Carvery is still serve yourself, which surprised me because of Covid, but there was hand sanitiser to use first. I got my friend to carry the plate for me. Fizzy drinks are also self served so having someone with you who can carry things is a must.
Toilets
[pictures attached] Disabled toilet requires a radar key, though I think you can also ask at the bar. Quite a basic disabled loo / baby changing; it was clean and had the usual rails. A bit tight if you were in a power chair or required a carer, but fine for most manual wheelchair users. Emergency cord was tied up so I untied it and placed a Euan’s guide card on it, hopefully that will prevent it happening again.
Staff
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Covid response was a bit disappointing. There is no mask requirement (servers weren’t wearing masks either) and the carvery is still serve yourself, though they did have hand sanitiser by the serving station. The menus are wipeable so hope they are disinfected between uses but don’t know. The restaurant tables are quite packed in also so wouldn’t go if you were high risk.
