shopping at TK Maxx
Visit date:
Overview
It's quite a big store but a little crowded inside - there's not necessarily a lot of space between the aisles at times depending on the size of your chair.
Transport & Parking
I came by public transport - there's some buses that come directly into the park, although I'm not sure what services, and you can also get a bus into Asda and then make your way through from there (buses that go into Asda include the 4, 5 and 49). There's lots of parking spaces available throoughout the park.
Access
I think it's pretty level access to get in. There's an upper level, which I'm fairly sure is serviced by a lift although I didn't go up so I can't comment on the size of the lift. The thing that stood out to me was that they had a till with a lowered counter for wheelchair users, which I thought was brilliant!
Toilets
There aren't any toilets in TK Maxx as far as I'm aware, but I think there's accessible toilets in the food places which are spread out throughout the park - such as the McDonalds or the KFC.
Staff
The staff were nice and good service, although I didn't need any extra help.
