Overview
Tivoli Gardens is one of the oldest amusement parks in the world. We visited for 5 days in August, and had a great time. There are disabled toilet facilities (see video below where we have filmed these) and all the rides we went on were easily accessible. There are a couple of places in the park where the gravel made wheelchair access more difficult, but these were few and far between and were easily avoided. Disabled visitors (on production of confirmation of their disability- DLA letter in our case) are entitled to take in a free companion, who also can accompany the disabled visitor free on any ride. If you buy the silver card like we did, you can also get unlimited access to the park over 12 months and take in an additional visitor free of charge each day (make sure they get a stamp when leaving the park as they won’t be allowed back in on the same day without it). It paid for itself after 3 visits. Overall, an excellent experience.
