Overview

Lovely hotel located in Liverpool. Spacious, accessible and friendly staff. 1.5 miles from the Albert Dock. 10 minutes in the car or 30 minutes walk (mainly flat). Car parking directly outside hotel (at a charge of £5 for 24 hours). If you ring ahead, the hotel staff will put a bollard in one of the blue badge spaces right outside the front entrance to reserve it for you. Outdoor terrace and restaurant completely accessible.

Transport & Parking

4.5

As already described. Although I only saw 2 disabled bays outside main entrance and a few further down the car park, there seemed ample parking.

Access

5

With two manual wheelchairs there was no problem navigating the hotel, bar, restaurant, rooms or outside terrace. The lift was also spacious. No steps to get into the hotel. The only small issue is that the car park is cobbly so it’s a bit bumpy but we managed no problem.

Toilets

4

We had a disabled toilet in our bedroom which was perfect (other than a small sink).. We didn’t visit the toilets on the ground floor but I noticed a sign for a disabled toilets.

Staff

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. They asked us about our requirements in the event of a fire upon checking in.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

I would recommend this hotel. I liked the space it offered and the architecture of the building was beautiful. It felt luxurious, modern and a real treat. The adapted room was the biggest we’ve ever stayed in. Lots of space. There was a choice of an interconnecting room next to it. The only reason I have not given it 5 stars is because the sink in the adapted room is far too small, the bed is a bit high which may present an issue to some disabled people, there is carpet in the corridor leading to bedrooms and in the bedroom so a bit harder to push a wheelchair on and cobbly car park. However this did not impact our stay. Thank you for a lovely stay Titanic Hotel. Would love to come back.
