Overview
Lovely little high street shop selling lots of different ornaments and thoughtful gifts, slight step to enter.
Transport & Parking
I parked about a 10-minute walk away on a side street as we were wandering around the shops but, I’m not sure about what other parking is available as I’m not from Stirling. The bus and train station is roughly a 5-minute walk away. I don’t know where the nearest local bus stop is though.
Access
To enter there a slight step that is slanted due to the shop being located on a slight hill. The lowest point of the step is manageable for wheelchair users however, I did need someone to push my wheel up at the higher end because I got stuck. There is no ramp available. Once inside there is a lot of items for on display but I managed to drive around the shop okay, it was a little narrow though. Some of the items were on display nearer the floor which I was a little worried I would run over but, the shop owner offered to move anything that was in my way. The till point was a little high for my wheelchair and there were some items in front of the till which might restrict customers in wheelchairs to reach the till as well.
Toilets
There isn’t a toilet in this shop, I’m not sure where the nearest one is. The closest Changing Paces toilet is roughly a 9-minute drive away in the Macrobert Art Centre.
Staff
The shop owner was very welcoming and she offered to move any items that were in my way. She told my friend and I that she has tried to get the step taken away to make the shop more level access but, has not been allowed to. I suggested a small ramp.
