Disabled Travellers pop in for cake and tea
Visit date:
This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Walking Aid, Wheelchair, Powerchair, Mobility Scooter
Overview
Disappointing, we were hoping for a miss Marple tea room, instead we have just a plain boring cafe. The coffee was good though, but cake was tired and lacked taste. You would struggle if you needed to take a wheelchair inside as not much space, so we would not really recommend this place for you. Our photos will show you what it’s like, but nothing really to write about.
Transport & Parking
The drive to get here is not to bad, but you have a car park handy. It’s then just a short push for your carer to reach a line of little cottages and a few drinking holes.
Access
It’s easy to reach the tea room, it’s on the level, and no step to worry about. However, it is very small inside, so you would find it difficult to place your wheelchair.
Toilets
We saw no toilets.
Staff
Friendly enough, and looked after us.
