Overview
Walked up through the park to the Nature Centre - maps and signposts all around the park. We only had about an hour to look around so this isn't a comprehensive review - what looked to be a small place turns out that we needed a good few hours at least!! A mixture of farm and exotic animals in nice surroundings by lakes and forest type paths. It's on a hill but paths were easy to follow and get around inside. Knowing they had a Changing Places was a reason for going in itself!
Transport & Parking
We used the overflow car park in the main park and walked to the centre. It was a weekend and very busy. Good accessible parking bays hatched side and back. Free for blue badge holders.
Access
The Nature Centre was easy to find and there was only one area that had steps inside (I heard it lead to some tarantulas so I wasn't too upset!!!) The site was much larger than we thought on good paths. I had no problem getting around although the area is based on a hill slope. Most enclosures have good viewing with glass panels. They have a wallaby walk through and some areas they are expanding in the forest setting. A gentle mix of farm and exotic animals.
Toilets
There are toilets outside the centre and a changing places toilet inside the park near the entrance.

Anything else you wish to tell us?
They should charge more than £3!! Carers get in free and both get in free if you just need the cp toilet as a park visitor. The walled garden shuts at the same time as the centre so allow time to get out!! We were moments away from being locked in as you have to go through he walled garden to get back to the main park.
