Disabled Travellers Lichfield Visit (5) Thyme restaurant Curborough
Visit date:
This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Walking Aid, Wheelchair, Powerchair, Mobility Scooter
Overview
This is a very nice restaurant in the country farm store at Curborough, and well worth a visit. It is nicely decorated throughout. We love the exposed warm brickwork that fills the restaurant, with lots of little nick knacks hanging around, which adds to the charm of this place. The service was very friendly, and the menu is quite extensive, and we both enjoyed our lunch with them. The toilets are very clean but if you cannot get out of your chair you may be in trouble, that’s the only complaint we will make. We would however recommend this restaurant to you, ideal for breakfast or lunch breaks.
Transport & Parking
The car park offers plenty of space, and you can park quite close to the delightful restaurant, and it’s all on the level for you.
Access
Although on the level it’s a bit of a distance from car park area to the restaurant, but at least it’s on the level
Toilets
No disabled toilet available, but these are clean and tidy and well looked after. However, we had to leave wheelchair close to toilets as in no way could you get one inside, so low marks for that. However, the restaurant has just thanked us for our review, and point out that they do have a disabled toilet, just to the right of our photo, and they received a thank you for it being so clean by another disabled user.
Staff
Extremely friendly and pleasant and willing for us.

Hello and thank you for visiting us at Thyme Kitchen and for such a lovely review. I just wanted to let you know we do have a disabled toilet (situated to the right in the picture you have taken) Next time you pop in we can show you - one lovely guest in a wheelchair recently thanked us for how clean it always is! Hope to see you again soon. Best wishes, Beth
