Hiding from the birds!

This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Wheelchair, Mobility Scooter
Overview
The newly laid duckboards across the marsh make the hides fully accessible but a bit narrow, so I would urge caution. There are no short cuts or resting stops so be prepared for a walk. It is advisable to know where you are going as you are on your own.
Transport & Parking
Nice big car park nearby but the rest needs to be done on foot. Our group got Social Work transport to the said car park but it may be worth driving and then walking, although nearby Currie is on a good bus route.
Access
Ground is a bit uneven and rough but excellent once on the duckoards. Manouvering in the hides is bit tight and watch out for the narrowness of some of the boards. Signage is good throughout.
Toilets
None available.
Staff
No one there - you have to 'fly solo'.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
I would say have an interest in nature or yo are in for a dull time. We had a superb time - even though there wasn't that much about.
