Overview
Use this weekly if i can - access inside is good and proper accessible toilet and shower. Steps into pool. There is a hoist but I don't know if it is operated by staff. Hour and a half usewith towels and robe in hydro therapy temperature spa water. Costly - half price £20 for me then £20 for carer but all there is now the Royal mineral pool is closed and the Royal United hospital won't allow access to those trying to manage their conditions. Absolutely worth it though once you get in - clean and open air so COVID compliant. Only open on Tuesday unlike main spa.
Transport & Parking
Awful, Bath is not a disabled friendly city imho - no parking close by and access over terrain of faux cobbles. Vehicle access only after six due to bollards - public transport! I'm told it's dire, but no actual experience
Access
No alternative format or loop, and power chairs not allowed poolside so use my manual chair. Seating ledge in the pool. No more than 10 at a time so always feels spacious
Toilets
Really good with shower just inside the door - locker there and clean and tidy although its cold. No changing places
Staff
All pretty good - fetch a pool noodle and water if requested - reception cancelled be a bit crowded so I book in and pay by phone
