As part of the national Disabled Access Day on Saturday 12 March, Thelma Hulbert Gallery (THG) is running a family drop in workshop making bird feeders. Children and adults with disabilities are encouraged to take part, particularly those with a hearing impairment.
A BSL interpreter will be available on the day and can give an informal tour of the current exhibition Soil Culture : Young Shoots. The interpreter working together with Education Ranger Penny Evans will guide families through making their own birdfeeder to take home. They can make a ‘corn dolly-style’ fat feeder as well as seed and peanut feeders from recycled materials.
All ages and abilities welcome. Free, suggested donation £2 / child.
Drop in anytime from 11am-3pm.
