Overview
Wheelchair accessible Modern Art Gallery
Transport & Parking
There is parking directly to the side of the building with disabled parking. Work was being done on the street when we visited but easy space found.
Access
Street level entrance to building with automatic doors. Low Information desk. Cafe easily accessible on ground floor. Toilets are male/female/disabled closets. Lockers available here for coat and stuff. Lift between floors is massive - obviously used for exhibit delivery. Ramps are on every level to allow access to the split level rooms - low gradient so easily manageable. Paved 'sensory' garden area. Every area bright and spotlessly clean!
Toilets
Easily found. Although the main entrance looks RADAR key controlled it's not. All closets are ceiling to floor separated .
Staff
Very pleasant and helpful willing to ask if you need assistance

First time here in this new build gallery and really impressed - windows help natural light to make it feel a light, wide, tall open space both in cafe and corridors. It was a good sunny day so plenty of people in the garden area. Children art/discovery class going on but you wouldn't have noticed - separate area of main entrance. It all felt like a treat.
