Overview

The White Lion Has one wheelchair accessible room, there is a lift to the first floor and the room is close to the lift, the bathroom is spacious and has the equipment necessary for transfers from the wheelchair to the toilet and shower, a fold down shower chair is attached to the wall beneath the shower, my wife was very pleased with it, there is space in the room for a power chair and sockets for the charger, the dinning room and brasserie are accessible, the staff were very helpful, would recommend. The disabled parking is at the back of the hotel and the entrance leads to the lift.

Transport & Parking

We drove to the hotel. The disabled parking is in the car park at the rear of the hotel, the entrance is close by and there are no steps

Access

From the disabled parking the entrance leads into the hotel and the lift to the first floor, past teh lift is the reception area, there are no steps at this entrance.

Toilets

The only disabled loo we used was the en-suite to the room we booked.
