Overview
The room is on the first floor with an access lift which is a bit cramped if you have a large chair difficult to maneuver. (we do have an exceptionally large chair) The room was spacious, although no sea views; the bathroom was spacious & facilities were fine but the loo was too low for my partner so he couldn't get up without alot of help. They did very kindly reserve a disabled parking space at the back of the hotel close to the lift and helped with luggage/walkers to carry them in/up to our room. There are also 3 more disabled parking spaces on the road at the front of the hotel. The hotel was about £120 including breakfast for double room
Transport & Parking
Access
High steps at front of the hotel, but good lift at the back, also cramped for our large chair
Toilets
There is a disabled loo in the back entrance close to the lift which looked good, although didn't use
Staff
Very helpful
Anything else you wish to tell us?
The town is quite flat and there is a promenade that you can use to wheel a chair along looking at the sea. The pavements are wide enough for easy wheelchair experience. There are pleanty of very nice restaurants, bars etc, fish n chips, smokeries, most of which look easy to access, despite being filled with old buildings and lots of steps.
