Sightseer - Chapter 5

So many bottles ...

Visit date:

This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Powerchair

Overview

Remarkably good access for a wheelchair user with no threshold to do battle with, a wide doorway, and bags of space. Not to mention hundreds of bottles to view.

Transport & Parking

Limited vehicular access to the Royal Mile at times.

Access

Access in to the shop from the pavement was level and it was easy to wheel in. In good weather the door is left open so that makes life easy. The doorway was wide enough to accommodate my powerchair with ease. Once inside you are in an open plan area with lots of display racks around. There's plenty of space to turn and circulate around the displays without worrying about how much this expedition might cost in damages if you hit the odd bottle or two!

Staff were helpful and attentive.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

Good to find a shop on the Royal Mile that is both accessible for wheelchair users and well laid out so you can see what's on offer.
