Overview
We visited the Manolo Blahnik exhibition recently - it was brilliant!! The shoes were just fab!! And there’s loads to see if you’re not a shoe fan too - from armour to paintings and a whole lot more! There’s also a great cafe in a light and airy atrium to enjoy a well deserved coffee and cake afterwards.
Transport & Parking
The Wallace Collection is conveniently located in Central London. We were staying nearby so just tootled along - but it’s not too far from major transport routes.
Access
Generally great! The one thing to look out for is the size of the lift. It is not massive and would be tight for some power chair users. Ramped access into the building which has been done in keeping with the whole design. Big heavy doors but always a steward to help you open them nearby. Helpful printed guides positioned in each room which enable you to understand and learn more about the vast collections.
Toilets
Staff
All staff that we encountered super helpful.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
It’s also free (with a suggested donation of £5) which is incredible given the amount of treasures within... you could literally spend all day there!
