Overview
I don't think this coffee shop was quite what Ultravox had in mind when they penned their 80s hit, but it's definitely in my Manchester top 10. I popped in for a coffee, having been to too many coffee chains on my trip around Manchester, and I was glad that I did. The coffee was lovely, and the flapjack I picked up was delicious and fueled me for a few hours—making up for the breakfast I skipped. They have a varied menu with all-day breakfast and brunch options like Full English, Eggs Benedict, and vegan choices. They also serve sandwiches, burgers, wraps, and toasted paninis, plus soups and salads. For dessert, they have cakes, brownies, and afternoon tea. The drink options include coffees, teas, smoothies, milkshakes, and cold drinks.
Transport & Parking
Vienna Coffee House is close to St Peter's Square Metrolink, and buses stop on nearby Princess Street. There are no local parking facilities.
Access
The shop is lovely and spacious, with seating over two levels. There is no lift access, but I didn't expect that given the size of the shop. There's a heavy glass door at the entrance, but the staff were quick to notice me and make sure I got in and out. The door is wide enough for a powerchair. I didn't linger, as I was on the go, so I didn't manage to check out the toilets.

Staff
The lady who served me was friendly and asked about my day. Knowing that I was carrying my coffee between my legs, she offered to put my drink inside a second cup to protect my legs from the heat of the cup.
