Overview
Seating for disabled is spread throughout the stadium: near the dug-outs or at the back on the North West and North East stands. For seating in the stadium there are several lifts which are old. These can also be busy on match days. There are accessible toilets near the seating. Radar keys are needed for these. I don't believe they have hoists either. Tickets for match days are reasonable; everybody is welcome and the atmosphere isn't too raucous.
Transport & Parking
I always go by train (via London Bridge). Charlton train station is 5 minutes walk from The Valley. You'll have to find your own parking space and put time aside to arrive and leave the stadium - the traffic is often bad because of the crowd.
Access
Disabled people can get around the stadium perfectly fine. However, signage around the grounds could be better - I only know where I am going as I'm a season ticket holder. There are plenty of approachable staff though. There is nothing that would discourage me from attending.
Toilets
I give a low rating as a radar key is needed, a lack of hoists and the temperature of the water is unreliable. The toilets are clean however and there is enough space inside and outside of the toilet for me to get around.
Staff
The staff are the stadium's best asset. There is a lot of them. A number are specifically allocated the role of supervising disabled match-goers and always on hand if need be.
