Overview
Disabled friendly venue with all level access through lovely secluded garden with gate. Very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of space outside in the garden but we chose to sit inside on the comfy sofa for our lunch. Style retro home with good healthy food and some unusual cakes! We had a bacon huffkins (like a bagel) & slice of sweet potato chocolate cake both very nice. Have been there many times for coffee and as a bit of a coffee snob I can say they make the best flat white and Latte I've tasted! Prices are good too. For Toilet facilities there is a disabled access loo (with baby change table) and mens and ladies all accessed via a door at the rear of the cafe or from outside through the back door to the Umbrella Center. The center itself is used by a variety of community groups, it is very inclusive and welcoming to all ages and needs, which makes a refreshing change to cafes today. I regularly visit with my 72 year old mum and 7 yr old disabled daughter.
