Overview
The exhibition was fantastic, but the access was bad
Transport & Parking
I don’t know about parking. I went by train. It was about 12 mins from Whitechapel Elizabeth Line Station.
Access
I could get in the building and the two big rooms. But not the upstairs section. They gave me an iPad to see what was up there but it wasn’t the same as seeing it.
Toilets
There wasn’t one
Staff
They made excuses for not having an accessible loo. “The building was too old” “The loos were original and couldn’t be adapted”. The loos were modern. They were helpful with other things though
Anything else you wish to tell us?
The first big room had a virtual reality experience which was brilliant! I felt like I had climbed inside Dali’s head and was watching his dreams. There were chairs in this room The second big room had projections onto the walls of his work. It had some 3d which was amazing! There were deckchairs and beanbags in this room. I would recommend it but be prepared for the lack of accessible loo.
