Overview
I have been staying at this hotel for business over the past 5yrs with my guide dog and this is mainly down to the staff and partly because there is an area of grass there to spend my dog. The staff couldn't be more helpful and a number of them no me from previous visits. I am always taken to my room (when I was really regular they always assigned me the same room). At breakfast the staff are more than happy to get my food from the buffet and pour my tea etc. The lifts have tactile buttons and audio announcements. Whilst I always request a standard room I have stayed in their accessible rooms. These are very large and have a wet room with multi-jet shower, which I would say is convenient for someone with limited mobility - I always find the water a bit too cool in these showers, but definitely accessible. I rave the Tower and couldn't think of a better business to be the subject of my first post.
Transport & Parking
For London there is a lot of parking available. Taxis can pull up right at the door of reception and the hotel has its own rank making getting a taxi easy when leaving. Be aware the nearest tube (Tower Hill) is a bit of a walk with multiple road crossings - I would suggest car/taxi is needed.
Access
There are ramps or lifts throughout the hotel Several accessible rooms are available
Toilets
Accessible rooms have wet rooms and suitable toilets - there are accessible toilets elsewhere in the hotel (e.g. near conference rooms)
Staff
Happy to help and made it clear if I need anything just to phone from the room. At breakfast they will support Custoemr care in reception can help organise anything and will either whistle a taxi from the rank or call one if none are outside.
