Very good accessibility, apart from outside space.

Overview
The Titan is a large, spacious pub/restaurant on Great Western Road. It has excellent staff and is mostly accessible.
Transport & Parking
Very large tarmac car park. There are only two designated blue badge spaces although these are not as close to the main door as some of the other spaces. The Titan is up a hill from the main road so a car/taxi is the best means of access.
Access
The entrance and interior are step free. Most of the floor is carpeted but it is not too thick to push a wheelchair over. There is plenty of space between the tables and it is easy to move seats to allow a wheelchair to be placed at a table. Staff are always willing to help with this. The only downside is that the outside space at the front - a sunny terrace high above the road with a good view - is up three steps although there is a handrail (picture 6) There are a few picnic style tables at the entrance but these are up a slight kerb and don't really allow a wheelchair to be easily placed by them. (Picture 8) In the past we have seen tables outside at the back and these are accessible, but there is no view and little sun. I've attached a photo I took on a previous visit.
Toilets
There is a drop down rail on one side and one attached to the wall on the other. The red cord goes to the floor, though it's a bit tucked away in a corner. We found there was plenty of room for a wheelchair user and assistant. The light in the toilet is a little bit dim.
Staff
Excellent. The staff are always extremely helpful and seem to do everything with a smile. On this visit we were served by a very pleasant woman at the bar (the lady with long hair) and an equally pleasant young man who brought the food to the table. I don't know if she still works there, but in the past Bernie has also been extremely helpful.
