Overview
Not all disabled people want to have to do their shopping from at the door, some like to browse! Shops need to have much more awareness of how much space you need to get about with a wheelchair as most of them are virtually inaccessible due to the amount of stock they have out on the shop floor and the lack of space between the display units. Disabled parking in multi-storey largely reserved for shopmobility, that which isn't reserved is very expensive.
Transport & Parking
blue badge parking largely reserved for shopmobility. No additional time or allowance made for blue badge holders. Very expensive.
Access
access to and around the centre is fine - lifts and flat floors - but gaining access to most of the shops is at best a hassle, at worst impossible.
Toilets
There is an accessible loo by primark store. perhaps we were just unlucky but it was pretty smelly and not very clean
Staff
didn't see any.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Not sure I'd fight to take the wheelchair back there!
