Overview
The Tall ship is moored at the quayside of the riverside museum and is very accessible for everyone to see.
Transport & Parking
There are lots of disabled parking spaces available at the front of the riverside museum.
Access
The ship has been ramped at both entrance and exit to make it more accessible to everyone. The steepness of the ramp depends understandably on the level of the tide. Some of the doorways are quite narrow but overall the ship is very accessible to everyone and an interesting piece of Glasgow history which is a must see. There is also an audio guide with numbered commentaries of each room available through your phone. Ask staff for details. There is also an accessible gift shop located beside the ship. The ship also has a lift to take you to the upper deck.
Toilets
The nearest accessible toilets are with the riverside museum which have handrails but no changing places toilets
Staff
Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
I really enjoyed the visit and was surprised at how accessible the ship is. A visit to the riverside museum and Tall ship are both free. I hope you enjoy your visit as much as I did!
