Overview
The Studio is part of the Festival Theatre. We went there during the Fringe & accessibility was ace!
Transport & Parking
It was tricky to find on our first visit but getting there is easy.... if you know how!! My pals parked in the accessible parking at the Festival Theatre. You then exit the car park the opposite way - so away from the main Festival Theatre. There is also a bus stop right outside.
Access
Access was great. There was step free access into the building and you get to a decent sized lift which can take you to all floors. We were going to a show in the main performance space. There was temporary seating that had been put in and the accessible spaces were right at the front - easy to access and we could all sit together.
Toilets
Didn't use it but would imagine that it would be in keeping with the rest of the building and would be very good.
Staff
We were there as part of the Fringe and it was Underbelly staff who were present. They were perfectly pleasant and when it came to the show and getting into the actual space it was fine. But they were totally clueless on where to park etc - that would have saved us quite a bit of time & hassle!
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Great, accessible space in the centre of Edinburgh.
