Overview
The Stirrup Inn is located in a small village called Willoughton, it is a small pub that is very friendly and welcoming. It has a small beer garden and a small car park. Inside there is plenty of seating options and an area to enjoy playing darts or watching the football on the TV. During winter months it has a lovely roaring fire in a large log burner. This pub does not serve food, however the drinks are cheap! We visited with my grandad who uses a walking frame and struggles with his eyesight at times.
Transport & Parking
The car park is small and unmarked so there is no designated disabled parking as such.
Access
Unfortunately, to enter the pub there is a small step at each door therefore making it difficult for wheelchair users. My Grandad was able to enter the pub using his walking frame, however I feel if his eyesight was particularly bad on one day these could be a trip hazard for him. However the small beer garden is accessible and a lovely place to spend a sunny afternoon.
Toilets
The toilets are small, in the Female toilets there are two toilet cubicles, one bigger than the other however no grab rails.
Staff
The staff are extremely friendly and willing to and down to earth, one of the bar staff delivered my grandads drink to him from the bar.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
A lovely small and friendly pub, however not completely accessible if wanting to sit inside.
