Overview
"The Solid" as it is known to its regulars, is an excellent place to listen to rock/metal and to meet like-minded people. The door staff are very helpful for people to gain access (I'm a wheelchair user). Bar staff alike are very helpful. We usually reserve the table next to the disabled toilets, to make things easier, which I am much obliged. The range of food and drinks are excellent. We usually arrive and leave by taxi, which can stop right outside. All in all, a great place to go.
Transport & Parking
There is no parking, as it is in the city centre but public transport bus stops are very near by, as is one of Glasgow's train stations. We usually arrive by taxi, which can stop right outside of the venue.
Access
Very easily to access. I am a wheelchair user and although there is one small step to get in, there is always someone on the door to help, if needed.
Toilets
Very easily found, right at the back where there is more room. I usually try to get the seats right next to the loos.
Staff
Staff are always very helpful and friendly.
