Overview
I loved the open plan space - paths are wide and surfaced and mostly flat so suitable for wheelchairs and walking aids. Staff very friendly and approachable. Could do with more seating around park near some animal enclosures for ambulatory disabilities and the disabled toilets really need to be improved. The park could do with some funding for a changing places toilet or purpose built easy access toilets on the grounds. The current disabled toilet are far from adequate and not a nice experience to use.
Transport & Parking
I could see two disabled bays close to entrance.
Access
The paths around park are flat and wide and free of obstacles.
Toilets
There is a loo but it is very dated and wouldn't fit most power chairs. The door is a slide door that doesn’t offer much privacy and there is no mirror. Getting into the toilet involves some tight manoeuvres.
Staff
Staff are friendly and helpful.
