The Scotch Whisky Experience sits next to Edinburgh Castle at the top of the famous Royal Mile. We’ve been here since 1988, and take real pride in introducing our visitors to the magic of Scotch whisky through daily interactive tours and whisky tastings. The Scotch Whisky Experience is accessible throughout: it was one of the first attractions in Scotland to provide both BSL and ASL on our devices for our Silver tour, and in 2018 received the Euan’s Guide Award for Venue of the Year in Scotland. There are two Changing Places toilets within half a mile of the attraction.

This Disabled Access Day take a Silver whisky tour before 1pm and show the Disabled Access Day website on your phone/tablet on arrival, to receive an additional dram of a sherry cask single malt matched with an artisan chocolate. Our team can talk you through the whisky flavour profiles; tasting notes will also be provided in large print.
