Overview

We were staying in the area with our aunt and uncle. They booked an evening meal for us all here. Access was ok but only to one part . We ended up having to sit not in the area where our table was booked for .when it was booked they were told that one guest was in a wheelchair, could they accommodate this in a suitable area. We were told no problem . But clearly it had not been noted. Not a huge amount of room to move with the wheelchair to get to our table . Toilets are up stairs so I wouldn’t be able to access them . We explained st the time of booking about my dietary requirements which again they said they could deal with . Before I ordered I did check if my choice was suitable but unfortunately half way through the meal discovered it wasn’t I had a reaction to ingredients used . Despite them saying it was ok. Apart from that everyone else said the food was good . I did manage s dessert sometime later once I felt better .the dessert was nice.

Transport & Parking

No car park just had to park on the road no drop kerb near where we parked so I had to get up the kerb to get into my wheelchair.

Access

Access ok although not that much space inside to get around with the wheelchair

Toilets

Toilets are up steps do not accessible

Staff

Staff could do with listening to what they are told when people make a booking . Our table was originally in an area I couldn’t access in the wheelchair. Also with regard ingredients used they need to make sure they provide the correct information to customers
