Overview

Two nights at this 4 star Hotel. It is up a steep hill, so wouldn't be good for someone wanting to leave the hotel and get about the town. Bowness on Windermere is very hilly. The hotel had 2 blue badge parking spaces

Transport & Parking

Travelled by car. The hotel had 2 blue badge spaces. There may be a £5 per night parking charge.

Access

Flat level access from the top car park which is where the blue badge spaces were. The lower car park is a steep road up to the hotel, or use the stairs. All amenities on the ground floor.

Toilets

Accessible toilet was large enough for my electric scooter. It had grab rails. It is just beyond the restaurant and through a hallway.

Staff

Very friendly.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

They had an outside wooden deck which had 2 separate entrances to, with a view down to the lake. But both had stairs, no ramps. So I was unable to use sadly.
