Overview
Good food, good prices, good views!! The Railbridge Bistro - as you may guess - is just underneath the Railbridge in South Queensferry. With seating indoors and outdoors you can enjoy the view of the three bridges while sharing a meal, or just getting an ice-cream.
Transport & Parking
There is a train station in South Queensferry (Dalmenay), which is about a 10 minute walk from the Bistro. It is downhill going to the Bistro, but walking or pushing going back up the hill to the station might be harder! We came by car, there is a large car park directly across the road from the Bistro, with several marked disabled bays.
Access
There is a permanent concrete ramp with a gradual incline at the front entrance, just beside a set of around three steps. There was plenty of room at the entrance, but you do go past an ice-cream stall/small shop area, so it could potentially become busy at times. We had pre-booked and informed them that one of the people in our group used a wheelchair. They had reserved a table for us downstairs (there are some tables upstairs too), and it was near the main walkway when we entered which meant we didn't have to get past other tables.
Toilets
I believe there is an accessible toilet but we didn't use it, so cannot comment.
Staff
Staff were friendly and efficient.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
We all enjoyed our meals, there are big portion sizes, but make sure you leave room for pudding! See if you can spot the toy train on a track round the ceiling!
