Overview
Very pleasant and helpful staff in beautifully situated hotel with good food. But why can't architects do their job and provide fully accessible features. There was no cut out under the washbasin so that I had to reach forward a long way to wash and use a towel on my lap to avoid a soaking, and I couldn't reach the kettle or hanging rail. This was a ground floor accessible room. The only ventilation was a pair of French windows opening onto the lane, not secure, and there was no air conditioning, so very hot at night.
Transport & Parking
Good parking facilities.
Access
There is a lift an some seating
Toilets
Yes but I did not need to use it so cannot comment
Staff
All very helpful, especially in the restaurant.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Th emattress had a soft edge which makes getting off the bed difficult. The wet room has plenty of grab rails but is spoilt by the inadequate hand basin which cannot be approached adequately in a wheelchair.
