The hotel is in a stunning location right next to the quay and with a beautiful view of conwy.

Transport & Parking

There is a lot as disabled parking spaces around the hotel. I am not sure if there is public transport down to the hotel as I drove and the only thing that I would worry about if i hadn't is the train line that runs across the enternce of the Quay complex as I'm not sure my chair would have gone over it.

Access

I didn’t book an accessible room as I wanted a room with a bath so can’t comment on that but the hotel is fully wheelchair accessible with plenty of disabled spaces, easy to get to lifts and large rooms that were easy to get round in my chair. The only down sides were that the carpet throughout the hotel was really hard to push myself around on and the step leading down onto the balcony attached to the room. The bathrooms aren’t great the toilet is very low, the sink and taps are hard to reach and the bath is impossible to get out of alone. I used the Spa facilities whilst I was at the hotel and the swimming pool was easy for me to get in and out of as they have steps leading into the pool and the side of the small hypotheapy pool. The swimming pool has an accessible changing room (they do keep this locked thought so did have to ask to use it).

Toilets

There is accessible toilets around the hotel and in the spa area, there is also an accessible toilet in the building across the car park (i think it was for the marina)

Staff

The staff were very helpful throughout our stay. We changed rooms whilst we were there and they sorted everything out for us and moved out luggage. The dinning staff were also really nice we had brakefast there every morning and staff were helpful in getting my food, helping with getting things back to the table and seating us out of the way so I didnt have to worry about being banged while people walked past.

There is also a bike hire service that the hotel provides and I did see a wheelchair bike although I didn’t use it, it was cool to see it there.
