Overview
We used to live just below the Arctic circle in Finland, so we wanted to visit this little museum while we were on holiday in Cambridge. We spent about an hour and a half there and had a lovely morning.
Transport & Parking
They have one accessible space which you have to book in advance but there is plenty of street parking in front of the museum, which is free for blue badge holders.
Access
There are steps at the front but a ramp in the car park to the rear entrance. I did wonder whether it would be open, as we arrived at 10:00 but it was open and a lady was on reception there. The museum is all on one level and wheelchair access was good.
Toilets
There is just one toilet for all but it is an accessible one with plenty of space and nice and clean. It is only a small museum so I can't imagine it getting very busy.
Staff
The staff were lovely. All helpful and polite.
