Overview

The Pendragon, Excalibur Drive, Thornhill looks like a traditional pub inside but has the benefit of good accessibility with lots of tables on the same level. There are steps and a ramp, both with handrails from the car park.

Transport & Parking

Good car park with marked disabled bays, and close to a major bus route in and out of Cardiff.

Access

Lots of accessible tables and easy access to the bar area, pool table and function room.

Toilets

We had no reason to ask for disabled toilets so I am not sure if they have a separate wheelchair accessible toilet but there is a slightly wider cubicle in the ladies with a grab rail.

Staff

Really impressed with the bar staff. It was busy when we went for lunch but they quickly sorted us out a table and offered to turn the music down as we were in the pool table area with my Nan. We ordered food at the bar and a member of staff later came over to check my order which was wrongly labelled gluten free on the menu. They were clearly concerned to be serving the right food to their customers.

I would recommend this as a good place to go for pub lunch with your family in Cardiff.
