Overview

If you are looking for a venue for an event in the Harrogate area that is accessible and provides an excellent service this is the one. Equally if you are attending an event here please be assured that it is fully accessible and that the staff are superb. There is level access, accessible parking, a number of accessible toilets and it is all on level. The staff are well trained and anticipate your needs before you know it!

Transport & Parking

Plenty of accessible parking outside the venue. There is a bus stop on the main road just outside the venue. Its a little way from the nearest train station though (about 2 milers)

Access

All on one level with level access into the venue. The doors are wide with wide corridors.

Toilets

There are a number of spacious accessible loos. We took a mobile hoist and a number of standers for our event and they fitted in well. The loos are not used for storage and have good grab rails with plenty of room for supporters if needed.

Staff

Everyone was ace! Barstaff and catering staff anticipated needs, changing glasses where people had difficulty in holding them, supplying straws, decanting soup into mugs - every need was catered for.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

We held an event here with around 30 attendees who were wheelchair users or have mobility difficulties. We would go back in a heartbeat, the accessibility and service were amazing!
