Overview
Good access from the level car park round the side of the building through the front door then through the bar past the disabled to any number of tables that accomodate a manual wheelchair. Knocked half a star off as there is a small up and down step to get in but I manage this by myself (T7 in a manual chair) with no drama.
Transport & Parking
Two disabled bays in the car park but it does get busy at peak times so get there early if you're going by car. Practically zero public transport as far as I can tell so book a taxi if you don't want to drive.
Access
As I said in the summary, level access from the car park to the table. That small lip really is small, perhaps half an inch but could be an issue if you're not a confident wheelchair user without help.
Toilets
Yep, close to the restaurant, all clean and tidy. Staff have a key if it's locked.
Staff
They bend over backwards for everyone, not just me! The owner is always floating around, checking up on the customers, chivvying up the staff.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
It's more restaurant than pub but they do have a dedicated bar and reasonable selection of beer. We go for the food which is always good, served fairly quickly and in good sized portions. I always go for the beef or chicken pie which would feed a family of four if you got it from a supermarket. Washed down by a couple of pints of cold Guinness of course . . .
