Nice Food, Generally Accessible but Attrocious Toilets
Visit date:
This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Walking Aid
Overview
The staff are always friendly here, enquire about allergies before you order and are happy to bring anything needed to the table for you. However, in the 2 years that I have been needing to use their disabled toilet there has been no improvement despite the obvious issues for any aid users.
Transport & Parking
The establishment is on a roundabout with 3 main bus routes stopping outside, a reasonably sized car park and 3 disabled spaces.
Access
There is a ramp instead of steps for everyone to enter the building and easy to manouver layout of tables. There's an induction loop but no BLS, braille, large print or easy sineage in the building.
Toilets
The toilet is small with not really much space for manovure or carer space. This small space is made even smaller with having a broken baby change thing in there that for over 2 years now has failed to be fixed or replaced and does not stay up against the wall, and since it falls straight back down will hit any mobility aid user trying to leave.
