Overview
A group of four wheelchair users and four carers booked but the message had not got through as it was originally booked for just myself. However, they coped extremely well and found a big table in a separate room for us. The service was very good with our orders taken promptly. The menu was excellent as befits a 3* hotel. Good value for money, with the exception of the beer price - £4.50 for a pint!
Transport & Parking
No public transport. No blue badge parking but if you let the hotel know when you book, you can park at the front door. However, there is an area covered in gravel between parking and the front door - not great for wheelchairs! Also, there is a 25mm step to get in. Again, not great.
Access
Once inside the front door, everything was on the level and we were shown to our table with no access issues.
Toilets
Access is tight unless you have a standard manual wheelchair. It is further compromised by the fact that the handrail doesn't lock up. It is, however, very clean.
Staff
Very helpful and efficient
