Overview

Small level access shop selling fudge and vintage sweets.

Transport & Parking

0

I can't comment on the parking at this shop as I walked to it from Callander high street but I would say it is about a 5 minute walk from free on street parking that I used. I'm not from this area so I can't comment on the public transport.

Access

The door was open when we entered so I can't comment on how easy it was to open it. There was no one else in the shop when I visited but even with no one being there i didn't really find the shop spacious. I could get around the shop in my powerchair and could turn around to see the items on the shelves but it was quite a squeeze. When paying the counter was very high for sitting in a wheelchair. My carer paid for our items so I don't know if they would be able to bring the card machine down if you couldn't reach. They did display sweet treats under where you paid so that's maybe why it was higher.

Toilets

I didn't see any toilets at all when I visited the shop.

Staff

2

I didn't feel the staff very helpful when we visited this shop and when we were standing at the shop counter it took them a little while to serve us even though we were the only ones in the shop.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

I can't remember if there was any hand sanitizer when we entered the shop but there was no one else in the shop when we were there so I felt safe.
