Overview
The NED is a luxury hotel with multiple restaurants situated in the heart of the City. Grade 1 listed and previously the Midland bank it is a stunning building delivering high quality in everything it does, including accessibility. This review is for the Sunday Feast in Millie's restaurant but in 2021 I did stay in the hotel and our basic room was fully accessible with wheel in shower. Sadly I did not take any photos on that occasion.
Transport & Parking
Situated next to Bank Tube station and on several bus routs with a stop just outside. The main entrance is up several steps so level access is provided just round the corner from Princes st.
Access
Level access from street and concierge to hold the enormous doors open. Once inside you are spoilt with marble floors, extra wide routes throughout the cavernous ground floor.
Toilets
The accessible WC I used is on a new level of luxury bit actually quite basic. The space is vast so I took a quick video...
Staff
Nothing is too much trouble, I was shadowed by a waiter who helped collect my food from the famous self service Feast buffet. This is 5* service of the like you cannot find outside of London hotels of this nature.
