Overview
This was my first outing in a wheelchair but it went smoothly, staff were friendly and on the whole the museum was accessible
Transport & Parking
Travelled to South Kensington underground, approx 10 min walk including stairs from there
Access
All floors were level and easy to use. Lifts were sometimes hard to find. Roughly half of the displays were too high to read without standing. Wheelchair hire was quick and easy.
Toilets
Not much space, okay as I can stand alone from my chair but think it would be a struggle for anyone needing support
Staff
Staff at wheelchair hire desk very friendly. Other staff pleasant, but did not go out of their way to help
